Albany, NY — Today, Delgado for New York released “Talk the Talk,” exposing Governor Kathy Hochul’s pattern of empty words and weak leadership in the face of Donald Trump’s agenda that is making life more dangerous and expensive for New Yorkers. 

The video highlights that while Governor Hochul makes promises to stand up to Trump, her record tells a different story. Under Hochul’s watch, Trump’s ICE raids are terrorizing New Yorkers, she’s cutting deals with the president for dangerous pipeline projects to move forward, entertaining renaming Penn Station after Trump, and stripping health care from New Yorkers — all while protecting billionaires and refusing to make the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share. 

“New Yorkers deserve a governor who will stand up to Trump and truly fight for the people of our great state— not play politics when it matters most,” said Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado. “Governor Hochul talks tough, but her record is one of capitulation: letting ICE raids run rampant, cutting dirty deals on pipelines, and refusing to tax the ultra-wealthy and big corporations despite the economic harm caused by Trump. If you’re going to talk the talk, you have to walk the walk — and I will always walk with the people of New York.”
