New York needs a governor who will stand and partner with progressive leaders in the Senate and Assembly, grassroots advocacy groups, and mayors and local leaders across the state to advance a bold agenda for all New Yorkers.
Antonio has a vision for New York that meets this unique moment in history – a vision that reforms entrenched systems of power that undermine the will of the people and allows all New Yorkers to afford to live and raise our families here.
Born and raised in Schenectady, Antonio Delgado is the son of working-class parents who taught him the value of hard work and perseverance. A Colgate graduate, Rhodes Scholar, and Harvard Law alum, Antonio has dedicated his life to leading with love and working to improve the lives around him.
Before entering politics, he was a lawyer and a hip-hop artist. In 2018, he was elected to Congress in one of the most rural districts in the country, where he built a reputation for bipartisanship and results.
Appointed Lieutenant Governor in 2022 and elected to a full term in November of 2022, Antonio has been traveling across New York to listen, lead, and fight for everyday New Yorkers. Antonio lives in Rhinebeck with his wife, Lacey, their twin sons, Maxwell and Coltrane, and their dog, Leroy.
